Auckland’s unique arts festival - Southside Arts Festival - features more than 40 events with a diverse mix of fashion, dance, music, theatre and much more.

From 12 October, the festival will be a showcase of artistic innovation on display led by Parris Goebel, our festival ambassador, who will also be judging and performing at the festival.

The signature events of the festival; Cult Couture, Southside Gig and The Mixer Concert are folded around poetry, comedy, theatre and other events taking place within the festival.

The festival provides an important platform for the expression of the vibrant arts, talent and creativity in the region, with events across various venues in south Auckland.

The festival supports our artists and our creative and cultural institutions, who all add to Auckland’s vibrancy and community.
